Explore one of Japan’s most beautiful traditional villages, famous for its iconic gassho-zukuri thatched-roof houses, mountain scenery, and beautiful autumn colors.

Takayama Old Town

We’ll also have a side trip to Takayama Old Town, where you can walk around the historic streets, see traditional wooden buildings, browse local shops, and enjoy the old-town atmosphere.

What About Food?

Food is not included in the ¥16,800 tour price, so you are free to choose what you want to eat during the trip. There will be opportunities to try local food and snacks in Shirakawago and Takayama, including Takayama’s famous local specialties. You can explore local shops and food stalls at your own pace during our stops.
